Strikes, throws, joint locks, grappling, weapons-defenses, and everything in between. Taught at UC Berkeley year-round, the Self-Defense Yongmudo club is one of six martial arts hosted by the UC Martial Arts Program.

Open Mat: If you're a regular club member or a PE member, you're welcome to come join us on the third Wednesday of every month at 4:30pm for an hour of open mat.

Korea Trip: Welcome back to our Korea trip participants, who went to represent Team USA at both the Cheongju World Martial Arts Masterships and the 2nd International Yongmudo Championship in early September! Team USA brought home 10 medals between the two international tournaments.

Fall 2016 - We will have open mat every Friday at 4:30pm. PE students are welcome to join us every third Wednesday of the month from 4:30p-5:30p for a club workout. Remember to pack a T-shirt in your bag for any workout marked (T) in the schedule.

11.11.16 - No workout due to the Veteran's Day Holiday.

11.25.16 - No workout due to the Thanksgiving Holiday.

11.30.16 - Promotions will be held Wednesday evening (Nov 30) instead of Sunday morning as previously announced.
