Learning Self-Defense is hard work.
But it can also be a great workout and be a lot of fun. Self-Defense Yongmudo at UC Berkeley is a safe place to train.
A new martial art for the 21st century.
Strikes, throws, joint locks, grappling, weapons-defenses, and everything in between. Taught at UC Berkeley year-round, the Self-Defense Yongmudo club is one of six martial arts hosted by the UC Martial Arts Program.
For the fall semester, Cal Yongmudo will be holding in-person classes for Cal students, faculty, and staff only on Mondays and Wednesdays. Classes will be hybrid on these two days, with an online option, and will be online-only on Fridays and Sundays.
